Meet the founder behind the method
I'm Fatima Fazal, founder of Sew & Grow — I didn't just learn sewing, I grew up in it. My mother ran a sewing school, and I've spent 40+ years sewing everything from quilts to couture and wedding gowns.
Along the way I've taught over 10,000 students — including Gert-Johan Coetzee, who came to me at just 11. One thing became clear: people don't fail at sewing — they're just not taught the right way. So I built a simple, step-by-step system that actually works. It's the method behind every one of these five levels.
